Usain Bolt av Ljusterö

Usain Bolt is the cornerstone of our herd – an embryo bull with New Zealand genetics who has been part of our farm since 2019. Today, at 11 years old, he is still active and going strong!

His sire is Pinebank Waigroup 41/97 from New Zealand, his dam Fossil Creek Greta 84-07, also of NZL origin. On the dam side, he carries Fossil Creek and SSA Alliance blood.

Usain Bolt’s offspring have proven themselves firmly in the Saareõue herd, fitting perfectly into our grass-based system. The bull himself has an exceptional temperament – calm and easy to handle – and passes this quality on to his progeny. His daughters make up the majority of our cow herd today.
